Purple Heart Car Donation
The Purple Heart car donation program can be initiated by filling up a simple form available online. All information can also be acquired by calling on a toll free number for the donation program. The organization keeps its own service for towing vehicles. Once all the information regarding the car to be donated is given, then the Purple Heart sends its pickup service to acquire the car as per the schedule and time. Keys of the vehicles are to be handed over during pickup, and a receipt will be provided to the donor by the staff.
ALL types of cars, motorcycles, and boats whether in working condition or not are accepted by the organization. For convenience, even if you are not at home, the organization will provide its towing service provided they are told about the parking place and the place where the keys are kept.
Donations to Purple Heart are hundred percent taxes deductible, also a mail is sent to the INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE tax-deductible slip within a week or fortnight, once the organization takes over the possession of the car. For participating in the Purple Heart Car Donation Program it is required to clear the car title and is the foremost condition. If there exists the title bearing the name of the lien, holder then a proof must be provided along with lien release documents, before giving the car.
Donation Information:
Donated items are all subjected to tax-deductible
A receipt is issues to donors mentioning their deductible tax.
Vehicles with outstanding liens will not be accepted and a proof must also be provided.
The organization will provide its own towing service and at location of your choice.
Timings are FRIDAY 9:00 AM to 6:30 pm and SATURDAY 9:00AM to 5PM.
